Stewart Butterfield one of Flickr’s co-founders have unveiled a new multiplayer online game called Glitch.
Due to be launched this autumn gamers will collaborate to solve puzzles in a 2d environment set in the future.
Butterfield has said the game will be free to play with revenue generated from selling premium accounts and virtual items.
This news comes on the same day a UK national gamers survey report we spent 280 million playing casual online games over 2009.
